Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in The Park Estate

A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.

Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before booking. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Compared with replacing, repairing normally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.

Why us?

  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year

What we do, step by step

Arrival times are agreed in advance. On site, it takes a day or two, depending on how many items. We leave the room clean.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Have a window or extractor fan available

Getting a price

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Advice

Common problems we fix in The Park Estate

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Before booking anyone

  • What preparation is included
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match
  • When it can be used again

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, so there’s no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. Several plots can be done in one visit.

Honest limits

To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price is based on:

  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • What the surface is made of
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • How many items we do on one visit

Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.

Getting a price from photos

Two or three clear pictures are typically enough. It helps if you send:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
