Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Tipton

About our coloured bath resurfacing in Tipton

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We regularly repair coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and common reasons people contact us are faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

For landlords and businesses

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.

Common problems we fix in Tipton

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Clients normally contact us about:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

What to look for in a quote

  • How long the guarantee is and what it covers
  • Who turns up on the day
  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • How to look after the finish

Our hiring checklist

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Why book with us

  • Generally one visit, start to finish
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • A fixed quote before you book

Take a look at our full price list or bath cost comparison.

How the visit works

We turn up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before we open a single tin. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

DIY repairs versus a professional job

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

When a repair isn’t the answer

It helps to know what we cannot do too:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Tipton. The price reflects:

  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • How much damage there is
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • Doing more than one item at once

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Tipton. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Send pictures for a quote

Phone pictures are fine, there’s no need for anything special. Just ensure we can see:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A wider photo showing the whole suite

You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

Questions from Tipton

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.

How quickly can you book me in?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.

What happens next?

We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.

Are there extra charges for Tipton?

We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.

Is it messy?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.

Do you come to Tipton?

Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Tipton. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
