Questions from Wales

What happens after I send photos?

You get a fixed price and available dates. If we need another angle, we’ll ask.

When can you do it?

We’ll give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures cannot show what we need.

Will you leave a mess?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and tidy up before we leave.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.

Do you come to Wales?

Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Wales and the rest of Rotherham. Send pictures and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Is there a guarantee?

Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Wales

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.

Big or small, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Wales?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s usually the colour that dates them, not the condition.

People generally call us after spotting something like this:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

Questions to ask before you book

  • How to care for the finish
  • A fixed quote, and whether VAT is included
  • Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
  • How long it needs to cure

How to compare quotes

Landlords, agents and businesses in Wales

Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

When we’d advise against a repair

To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.

Materials we work on in Wales

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:

  • How much damage there is
  • Access to the area
  • The type of damage
  • The material and finish

We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Wales. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

How to get a fixed quote

Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:

  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Set against the cost of replacement, repairing usually costs far less, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.

Why Wales clients choose us

  • Free fixed quotes from pictures
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish

What happens on the day

On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, tidy-up included.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

Should I try a DIY kit first?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
