Coloured bath resurfacing in Wexham Court

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Wexham Court

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, across whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

Every job is backed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.

Why Wexham Court clients choose us

  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Everything repaired in place
  • Rooms protected and left tidy

DIY kit or professional repair?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.

What a repair can’t fix

A repair isn’t right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price depends on:

  • The material and finish
  • The type of damage
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • The size and number of damaged areas

Compared with replacing, repairing normally costs far less, because there is no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Send pictures for a quote

Good photos mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Any details about the material

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a picture from further back, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

The process

Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. Once we are there, the work takes one to two days for a full suite for most jobs. We leave the room clean and you will know when it can be used.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the day after.

Before we arrive

  • Open a window if you can
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

Advice

For landlords and businesses

Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Wexham Court use us as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. We can visit several plots in one trip.

Wexham Court questions

Is there a call-out fee?

We don’t add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.

What happens next?

We review the photos and send a fixed quote.

When can you do it?

It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Usually, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Will there be a smell?

There can be some smell while we work, which is why we ventilate. It clears as the materials cure.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.

Common problems we fix in Wexham Court

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

Look out for any of the following:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom

What your quote should include

  • The length of the guarantee and what it covers
  • When it can be used again
  • If travel is included in the price
  • What happens if they find more damage
