Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Y Fron
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.
Whatever the size of the job, you get the same one-year guarantee in Y Fron and across Gwynedd. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- The type of damage
- How many items we do on one visit
- What the surface is made of
- Unusual colours or finishes
Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access.
How to get a fixed quote
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Something in shot to show the size
- One picture of the entire suite
- Any details about the material
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.
What a repair cannot fix
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Y Fron: your questions answered
What happens if you find more damage?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
Do you cover the entire of Gwynedd?
We work UK-wide. Our prices are the same everywhere.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the photos can’t show what we need.
How do I book?
Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.
What happens next?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why Y Fron clients choose us
- Fixed prices from your photos
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- We come to you, anywhere in the UK

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.

How it works
We turn up when we said we would and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep a parking space free if you can
