We’re frequently asked to fix dents from dropped items and gouges from moving appliances, in solid wood, wood-effect vinyl (ask us) and laminate flooring.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work. Use felt pads under furniture and wipe spills straight away.

When a repair isn’t the answer
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Laminate swollen along the joints by water
- Boards that have lifted or warped
- Underfloor damage
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
Surfaces we repair
- Engineered wood
- Solid wood
- Wood-effect vinyl (ask us)
- Laminate flooring
The process
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, protect the area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a few hours. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.
- We clean the damaged area.
- Next we fill the dents and chips.
- We sand the repair flush with the board.
- We match the colour and grain by hand.
- Finally we match the sheen of the floor.
Before we arrive
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
How to get a price
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the floor, include your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
Related advice
Should you replace it?
Swapping a damaged board can mean lifting the floor back to it, sourcing a matching board and laying it all again. A repair works with the boards in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Corse questions
Do you work in Corse?
Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Corse from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
How do I book?
Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
Can you repair a scratched laminate floor?
Yes. We fill and colour-match scratches and chips.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, we often do. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Do the materials smell?
It depends on the job, but frequently a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Prices and what affects them

- How easy the damage is to reach
- How many areas need work
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The material and finish
The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.
Quotes from your photos

- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
