Trusted kitchen sink repair in Freehold

About our kitchen sink repair in Freehold

Doors with a large area of lifted vinyl normally need re-wrapping or replacing; we repair chips and dents. Repairs are matched to the original finish, so the kitchen stays as it is. We work on composite sinks, ceramic Belfast & butler sinks and vinyl-wrapped doors, and the jobs we see most are damage from fitting or moving appliances and cracks around the waste.

You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Freehold as everywhere else we work. A sink mat protects against dropped pans, and wipe door edges dry.

What we can’t put right

Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits:

  • Doors where the vinyl wrap has lifted across a large area
  • Doors swollen by water
  • Sinks cracked through the base

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Surfaces we repair

  • Composite sinks
  • Ceramic Belfast & butler sinks
  • Gloss and matt cupboard doors
  • Vinyl-wrapped doors
  • Cabinet ends & plinths

How we price kitchen sink repair

Repairs from £95. There’s no area surcharge for Freehold. What changes the price is:

  • The material
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • Access to the area
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Getting a price from pictures

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:

  • Details of any past repairs
  • Any details about the material
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Where you are, by postcode

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire sink or cupboard door, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or hunting for a door that’s no longer made. Repairing it keeps your kitchen as it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.

Can I fix it myself?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

What we do, step by step

On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll take it from there. The job generally runs to a morning or an afternoon.

  1. We start by preparing the damage.
  2. We fill chips and rebuild edges.
  3. We sand the repair to the original profile.
  4. The colour is matched to the sink or door finish.
  5. Finally we polish or seal it.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

Ask for a price

We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.
