How we handle kitchen sink repair in Mayfair

We repair the damage and match the original finish, so you do not need replacement parts. Doors with a large area of lifted vinyl typically need re-wrapping or replacing; we fix chips, dents and local damage. We regularly repair ceramic Belfast & butler sinks, composite sinks and cabinet ends & plinths, and common reasons people get in touch are cracks around the waste and chipped door and drawer edges.

A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Use a sink mat or bowl for heavy pans, and dry the door edges after spills.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or hunting for a door that is no longer made. A repair leaves everything in place. Prices start from £95. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Why Mayfair clients choose us

  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Everything repaired in place
  • Fixed prices from your pictures
  • Work done at your home or business

DIY kit or professional repair?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair is not always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:

  • Doors where the vinyl wrap has lifted across a large area
  • Doors swollen by water
  • Sinks cracked through the base

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Materials we repair

  • Vinyl-wrapped doors
  • Cabinet ends & plinths
  • Composite sinks
  • Gloss and matt cupboard doors
  • Ceramic Belfast & butler sinks

How the visit works

We begin by going over the job with you, so there are no surprises. Next, we cover and mask everything nearby and the work begins. Allow a few hours, and we’ll keep you posted as we go.

  1. First the damaged area is cleaned and prepared.
  2. We fill chips and rebuild edges.
  3. We shape the repair to match the original.
  4. The colour is matched to the sink or door finish.
  5. We polish or seal the repair.

Advice

Mayfair: your questions answered

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Normally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

What if the damage is worse than the photos show?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Can you repair a chipped Belfast sink?

Yes. Chips to the rim, apron and around the waste are common repairs.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Of course, and it normally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you will get one combined price.

Is my repair covered?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Are you accredited?

We are accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.

Can you repair cupboard doors?

Yes. We repair chips, dents and scuffs on most door finishes.

How we price kitchen sink repair

Prices start from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • How much damage there is
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The material

The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking.

How to get a fixed price

Two or three clear photos are generally enough. Try to include:

  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Any details about the material

For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.

For anyone letting property in or around Mayfair, we will quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.
