Kitchen sink repair at your home in Nocton

We repair the damage and match the original finish, so the kitchen stays as it is. Doors with a large area of lifted vinyl normally need re-wrapping or replacing; we fix chips, dents and local damage. Whether it’s damage from fitting or moving appliances and chipped door and drawer edges, we can help, whatever the material.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we have gone. Use a sink mat or bowl for heavy pans, and wipe door edges dry.

The process

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which normally takes a few hours. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.

  1. We start by preparing the damage.
  2. We fill chips and rebuild edges.
  3. We shape the repair to match the original.
  4. We match the colour to the glaze or door.
  5. We polish or seal the repair.

How to prepare

  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access

Advice

Prices and what affects them

Repairs from £95. We price every job individually, from your photos. The main factors are:

  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • What the surface is made of
  • Unusual colours or finishes

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Nocton. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Getting a price from photos

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A photo taken from further back
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire sink or cupboard door, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

What we are called out for in Nocton

Ceramic sinks chip when pans and crockery are dropped, and cupboard doors get knocked by chairs, bins and vacuum cleaners.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • Cracks around the waste
  • Dents and scuffs on cabinets
  • Chips in ceramic sinks
  • Damage from fitting or moving appliances

What your quote should include

  • Whether the price covers travel
  • What preparation is included
  • How long the guarantee is and what it covers
  • Whether a trained technician does the job

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a sink or door may mean disturbing the worktop and plumbing, or hunting for a door that’s no longer made. A repair leaves everything in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Why Nocton clients choose us

  • No extra charge for your area

Can I fix it myself?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
