Non-Slip Bath Coating in Failand
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays in Failand, carried out at your home and guaranteed for a year.
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth

Non-slip bath coating in Failand, done in place
It suits older people, families and holiday lets. The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. We are often asked to fix resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and worn-out textured areas, in enamelled baths, acrylic baths and wet room floors (ask us).
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we’ll sort it. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

The process
Once we’re through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes a few hours, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- First the standing area is cleaned and degreased.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We apply the clear textured coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
Before we arrive
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Make sure the area is dry
- Let us know which floor the room is on
How to get a price
The quickest way to a price is to send two or three photos through our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.

How we price non-slip bath coating
Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:
- The type of damage
- Doing more than one item at once
- How much damage there is
- How hard the colour is to match
We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Quotes from your pictures
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Instead, you could go for a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A non-slip coating adds grip to the bath you have. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.

Your questions about non-slip bath coating in Failand
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Is it messy?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
When can you do it?
We will give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Do the materials smell?
There can be some smell while we work. It fades as everything cures.
How do I clean it?
Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.
Which areas do you work in?
Across the UK, so Failand is covered. Our prices are the same everywhere.
Is a repair better than a new one?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
What does non-slip bath coating cost?
The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
What a repair can’t fix
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we would rather say so up front. We cannot fix:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
Materials we work on in Failand
- Enamelled baths
- Acrylic baths
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Shower trays
- Resurfaced baths
DIY repairs versus a professional job
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
