Heybridge questions
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
How much does non-slip bath coating cost in Heybridge?
We give a fixed quote from your photos. Send a close-up and a picture of the entire item with your CM9 postcode.
Will a non-slip coating change how my bath looks?
Very little: it shows as a matt area where you stand.
Is it messy?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
Will the price change on the day?
The price is fixed for what the pictures show. If there’s more, we’ll tell you before starting.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, for a year. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Generally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.
What do you need from me?
Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.
About our non-slip bath coating in Heybridge
It’s popular with older people, families and holiday lets. The coating is clear and textured, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. We are often asked to fix resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and a bath or tray that is slippery when wet, on wet room floors (ask us), enamelled baths and resurfaced baths.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
What we cannot put right
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair won’t do:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Resurfaced baths
- Shower trays
- Acrylic baths
- Enamelled baths

What we’re called out for in Heybridge
Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, but with soap and water on them they become slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Worn-out textured areas
Comparing quotes

- How soon you can use it again
Work for landlords and builders
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we’ll arrange it.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, so there’s no need to replace a damaged item at the last minute. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.
What non-slip bath coating costs
Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:
- What kind of damage it is
- How hard the colour is to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- The material
We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
How to get a fixed price
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:
- Natural light rather than flash
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.
Should you replace it?
Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- We remove the masking for a neat edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
Before we arrive

- Make sure the area is dry
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
