Non-Slip Bath Coating in Rayleigh
Non-slip bath coating in and around Rayleigh: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Safety for older or less mobile people

Work for landlords and builders
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Essex and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
Non-slip bath coating in Rayleigh, done in place
It’s a clear, textured coating, so the bath looks much the same. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. If you’re dealing with bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten and a bath or tray that is slippery when wet, we can typically put it right, on resurfaced baths, enamelled baths and wet room floors (ask us) alike.
All our work is covered by our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Essex. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

When to call us in Rayleigh
Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, yet with soap and water on them they become slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.
You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Worn-out textured areas
- Safety for older or less mobile people

- What aftercare is recommended
Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
When we would advise against a repair
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Shower trays
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Acrylic baths
- Resurfaced baths
- Enamelled baths
How the visit works
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll take it from there. Most visits take a few hours, tidy-up included.
- We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We apply the clear textured coating.
- We lift the masking for a clean edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
Before we arrive
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat

You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
Advice
Repair or replace: which is better?
Instead, you could go for a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A non-slip coating treats your existing bath or tray. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.

Prices and what affects them
You will not pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- Access to the area
- The material
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether we combine several jobs
We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
Send photos for a quote
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A wider photo showing the entire bath or shower tray
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Something in shot to show the size
If you are in Rayleigh and want a price, pictures are the quickest way: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
