About our non-slip bath coating in Highoak
It’s a clear, textured coating, so the bath looks much the same. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. Typical jobs include worn-out textured areas and resurfaced baths that are now too smooth, across acrylic baths, wet room floors (ask us) and resurfaced baths.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re covered after the visit. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Do not use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Your questions about non-slip bath coating in Highoak
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.
Can you quote from pictures?
Usually, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day.
Do the materials smell?
There can be some smell while we work, so we ventilate the room. It fades as everything cures.
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before.
Will I see the coating?
Very little: the treated area looks slightly matt.
Are you accredited?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will arrange it.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Instead, you could go for a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A non-slip coating treats your existing bath or tray. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You’ll see the full price before booking, with no extras added later.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
How we price non-slip bath coating
You will not pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- What the surface is made of
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Access to the area
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.
Getting a price from pictures
Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Something in shot to show the size
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- One picture of the entire bath or shower tray
- What it’s made of, if you know
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and you’ll get a fixed figure back.
How the visit works
You don’t need to empty the room. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.
- We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- We remove the masking for a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, typically overnight.
Before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
Getting a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the whole bath or shower tray, include your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
