Non-Slip Bath Coating in Killamarsh
Non-slip bath coating in Killamarsh without the cost of replacing. Send us photos for a fixed quote, then we come to you.
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet

How we handle non-slip bath coating in Killamarsh
The coating is clear and textured, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It suits homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. Whether it’s worn-out textured areas and safety for older or less mobile people, we can generally put it right, on shower trays, acrylic baths and enamelled baths alike.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Repair or replace in Killamarsh?
The alternatives are a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

What we do, step by step
You don’t need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we have agreed what we are doing. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
Before we arrive
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible

Prices and what affects them
You will not pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- The material
- The size and number of damaged areas
- How hard the colour is to match
- Access to the area
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking.
How to get a fixed quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Natural light rather than flash
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole bath or shower tray, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.
What we cannot put right
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Resurfaced baths
- Enamelled baths
- Acrylic baths
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Shower trays
Work for landlords and builders
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Killamarsh as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Common problems we fix in Killamarsh
Baths and trays are made smooth so they’re easy to clean, but wet, soapy surfaces are slippery. The textured patch on an older bath also wears down over time.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- Worn-out textured areas
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten

DIY kit or professional repair?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
