Non-slip bath coating at your home in Landport
It suits homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. We’re frequently asked to fix worn-out textured areas and resurfaced baths that are now too smooth, in wet room floors (ask us), acrylic baths and enamelled baths.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Don’t use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Landport questions
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. You will not be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.
Do you charge for travel?
We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.
How do I clean it?
Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.
Does someone need to be in?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.
Will I see the coating?
Only slightly: the treated area looks slightly matt.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit normally costs less than separate visits. Send pictures of everything you’d like done.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Repairing versus replacing in Landport
The alternatives are replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

When we would advise against a repair
It helps to know what we can’t do:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Resurfaced baths
- Acrylic baths
- Shower trays
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Enamelled baths
Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Landport
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
What affects the price in Landport
There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:
- The type of damage
- How many areas need work
- How many items we do on one visit
- How easy the damage is to reach
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from pictures
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Any details about the material
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the bath or shower tray, include your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.
What happens on the day
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Plan for a few hours from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain when it can be used and how to care for it.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- We lift the masking for a clean edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
How to prepare
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
Ask for a price
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you’ll get a fixed figure back.
