Non-slip bath & shower coating in Shop, Cornwall
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays for homeowners, landlords and businesses in Shop. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet

How we price non-slip bath coating
We give every job a fixed quote from photos. This is what makes a difference:
- How many areas need work
- What kind of damage it is
- The colour and finish to match
- Access to the area
There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
How to get a fixed quote
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- One picture of the entire bath or shower tray
- Where you are, by postcode
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
About our non-slip bath coating in Shop
The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. We’re often asked to fix bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten and safety for older or less mobile people, on wet room floors (ask us), shower trays and enamelled baths.
All our work comes with a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Cornwall. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Do you need non-slip bath coating in Shop?
Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, yet with soap and water on them they become slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- Worn-out textured areas

Repairing versus replacing in Shop
The alternatives are replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Work for landlords and builders
Letting agents frequently send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
For anyone letting property in or around Shop, we will quote for several properties at once. Just send photos for each address and we will come back with a combined price.

Shop: your questions answered
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it typically saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we will quote them together.
Is my repair covered?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Do you do work for letting agents?
We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
What areas do you cover?
The whole UK, including all of Cornwall. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Typically, yes. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
Is there a call-out fee?
We do not add a call-out fee. Your fixed quote includes everything.
Is it messy?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
How the visit works
You don’t need to empty the room. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, normally overnight.
Before we arrive
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
How to get a price
There’s no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.
Advice
What we cannot put right
To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before you book.
Surfaces we repair
- Acrylic baths
- Enamelled baths
- Shower trays
- Resurfaced baths
- Wet room floors (ask us)
DIY kit or professional repair?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
