Bath repair at your home in G65
You don’t need a new bath because of a chip. We fill the damage, shape it to the curve of the bath and refinish it, with the colour mixed on site so the repair is hard to spot. We’re often asked to fix a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting and a cracked acrylic bath, in cast iron enamel, whirlpool & spa baths and roll-top & freestanding.
Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a morning or an afternoon. If anything looks different from your photos, we’ll talk to you before going ahead.
- Dust sheets and masking go down around the bath.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased.
- We fill it, let it set, then sand it flush.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the next day.
Pricing in G65
Our bath repair starts from £95. A repair generally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.

What affects the price in G65
Repairs from £95. We do not charge extra for travel to G65. The price depends on:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The material and finish
- Whether we combine several jobs
We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Quotes from your photos
You can take the photos on your phone. Just make sure we can see:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- A wider photo showing the entire bath
- Something in shot to show the size
- What it’s made of, if you know
To get a price, send a couple of photos through our quote form or call us. We will tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.
When a repair isn’t the answer
We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:
- Wear across the whole surface, which needs re-enamelling
- Leaks from the waste or overflow fittings (a plumber’s job)
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
Should you replace it?
Replacing a fitted bath normally involves a plumber, removing the old bath, making good the tiles and panel and getting rid of the old bath. Repairing it fixes just the damaged area in one visit.

Can I fix it myself?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Different materials, different repairs
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour matched, in much the same way.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it relies on good support. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
G65 questions
Will the repair show?
We aim for a repair you cannot easily find. The rest of the bath’s condition makes a difference, and we’ll tell you what to expect.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Typically, yes. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send photos.
Do you charge for travel?
No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Is repairing better than replacing?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we will tell you.
Will the price change on the day?
Your quote covers the damage in the pictures. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Do you come to G65?
Yes, we do. Technicians travel to G65 from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
