Tile repair at your home in Farnham
If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we’ll tell you. We repair the tile in place, so there’s no need to hunt for a matching tile. We regularly repair natural stone & granite, ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles, and people most frequently call us about drill holes from removed fittings and cracked floor tiles.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are covered after the visit. Take care with heavy items on repaired tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

What affects the price in Farnham
Prices start from £95. We don’t charge extra for travel to Farnham. The price depends on:
- The type of damage
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Doing more than one item at once
- How hard the colour is to match
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Quotes from your pictures
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what to send:
- A wider photo showing the entire tiled area
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
For a price in Farnham, the easiest route is pictures: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a tile involves breaking out the old tile, finding a match and risking the tiles around it. A repair leaves the tile where it is. Prices start from £95. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.
Why Farnham clients choose us
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- Normally one visit, start to finish
- Nothing taken out or refitted
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Farnham questions
Do you do work for letting agents?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. We’ll offer you dates when we send your quote.
Will there be a smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work, which fades afterwards.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Can you price it without visiting?
Typically, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

The process
You don’t need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we’re doing. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We start by cleaning the tile and clearing loose fragments.
- Next we fill the damage.
- The repair is levelled to the tile surface.
- The colour and pattern are recreated by hand.
- The repair is sealed to suit the tile’s finish.
How to prepare
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Let us know about parking or access

Related advice
Can I fix it myself?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
