Tile repair in Greenhill without replacing anything
The tile stays where it is, so there is no need to hunt for a matching tile. If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we’ll say so. If you’re dealing with cracked floor tiles and discontinued tiles you can’t replace, we can help.
Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. Take care with heavy items on repaired tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Should you replace it?
Replacing a tile involves breaking out the old tile, finding a match and risking the tiles around it. Repairing it keeps the original tile. Our tile repair starts from £95. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
How it works
Arrival times are agreed in advance. Once we are there, the work takes a few hours for most jobs. The room is left tidy and you will know when it can be used.
- We clean the tile and remove loose fragments.
- We fill the chip, crack or hole.
- We level and shape the repair to the tile surface.
- We recreate the colour and pattern by hand.
- Finally we seal it to match the tile.
Getting ready for the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
How to get a price
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the tiled area, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

What tile repair costs
Prices start from £95. Each job gets its own fixed price. These are the things that affect it:
- How many areas need work
- What kind of damage it is
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The material
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before you book.
Getting a price from photos
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage, and it saves a visit. Please include:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Natural light rather than flash
To get a price, send two or three photos using our quote form or call us. We will say immediately if a repair is the right fix.
