Tile Repair for Liss homes
Our technicians come to Liss for chip, crack and drill-hole repairs to floor and wall tiles. Everything is done in place, with a one-year guarantee.
- Repairs from £95
- Drill holes from removed fittings
- Cracked floor tiles

Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping out a damaged tile means breaking it out, tracking down a matching tile and risking the tiles around it. Repairing it leaves the tile where it is. Prices start from £95. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Tile repair in Liss without replacing anything
The tile stays where it is, so you do not need to find a spare. A loose or rocking tile may need relaying first, and we’ll tell you. We regularly repair natural stone & granite, porcelain tiles and floor and wall tiles, and people most frequently call us about drill holes from removed fittings and discontinued tiles you can’t replace.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Take care with heavy items on repaired tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Do you need tile repair in Liss?
Dropped pans and tools chip floor tiles, and wall tiles get drilled for fittings that are later removed. Movement underneath can also crack tiles.

What affects the price in Liss
Prices start from £95. Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
How to get a fixed price
Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A wider photo showing the entire tiled area
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. There’s no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.

Work for landlords and builders
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.
Your questions about tile repair in Liss
When can you do it?
We will give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Is repairing better than replacing?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
How do I book?
Send pictures through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.
What happens once I’ve sent photos?
We come back with a fixed quote, normally with dates to choose from. You are under no obligation.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Will there be a smell?
It depends on the job, but often a little. Open windows and an extractor fan help, and it soon fades.
Do you do work for letting agents?
Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
How it works
Here’s how a visit typically runs: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Plan for a morning or an afternoon from start to finish. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and what to avoid for the first few days.
- We clean the tile and remove loose fragments.
- The chip, crack or hole is filled.
- The repair is levelled to the tile surface.
- We recreate the colour and pattern by hand.
- Finally we seal it to match the tile.
How to prepare
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
How to get a price
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Can I fix it myself?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
