Toilet chip repair in Ash, done in place
We rebuild the damaged area and match it to the glaze, so the toilet stays in place. A crack that leaks can’t be fixed with a cosmetic repair, and we will tell you if that’s what we find. We work on porcelain, cisterns & lids and pedestals, and common reasons people get in touch are chips on the pan or rim and damage from dropped items.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we will come back. Take care with heavy items and clean the outside of the pan gently.

Can I fix it myself?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a toilet needs a plumber and possibly new flooring, and a matching cistern may no longer be made. A repair keeps the toilet you have. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Set against the cost of replacement, repairing normally costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Why Ash clients choose us
- Rooms protected and left tidy

FAQs for Ash
Will there be a smell?
Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, so we ventilate the room. It fades as everything cures.
Do you come to Ash?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Ash and the rest of Somerset. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit usually costs less than separate visits. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
Does someone need to be in?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You do not need to watch us work.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
What do you need from me?
Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
