Toilet chip repair at your home in Belle Vue

A crack that leaks cannot be fixed with a cosmetic repair, and we will say so if we find one. Chips are rebuilt and colour matched to the glaze, so you don’t need a plumber or a new toilet. Common call-outs are for chips on the pan or rim and marks on the outside of the pan, on pedestals, vitreous china and porcelain.

All our work comes with a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Bradford. Take care with heavy items and use non-abrasive cleaners on the outside of the pan and cistern.

10 questions to ask before booking

What toilet chip repair costs

Prices start from £95. Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:

  • Doing more than one item at once
  • How many areas need work
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • What kind of damage it is

The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before you book.

How to get a fixed quote

The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • A picture taken from further back
  • Something in shot to show the size

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.

Repair or replace in Belle Vue?

Replacing a toilet means a plumber and sometimes new flooring around the pan, and the matching cistern may be discontinued. A repair leaves it in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What you get with us

  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Free fixed quotes from pictures
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

How it works

We agree an arrival time beforehand. On site, it takes one to two hours for most jobs. The room is left tidy and you will know when it can be used.

  1. We start by cleaning and drying the damage.
  2. We fill and rebuild missing material to the original shape.
  3. We sand it flush.
  4. The glaze is colour-matched and finished.
  5. The repair is polished so it blends in.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Open a window if you can
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area

Getting a price

For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

Landlord and trade work in Belle Vue

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover so nothing needs replacing. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

What we cannot put right

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • A crack that leaks water
  • A crack through the bowl or trap
  • A loose pan or leaking seal (that’s a plumbing job)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
