Toilet chip repair in Roybridge, done in place
Leaking cracks need the toilet replacing, and we will tell you if that’s what we find. We rebuild the damaged area and match it to the glaze, so the toilet stays in place. If you are dealing with pieces knocked off during fitting and marks on the outside of the pan, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Take care with heavy items and use non-abrasive cleaners on the outside of the pan and cistern.

Work for landlords and builders
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Highland and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.

What toilet chip repair costs
Repairs from £95. Prices are worked out job by job, from your pictures. The main factors are:
- The material and finish
- The colour and finish to match
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Send pictures for a quote
Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- One picture of the entire toilet
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
Email us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you are in Roybridge, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
When we’d advise against a repair
A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:
- A crack that leaks water
- A crack through the bowl or trap
- A loose pan or leaking seal (that’s a plumbing job)
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before booking.
What we work on
- Porcelain
- Toilet pans
- Cisterns & lids
- Vitreous china
- Pedestals
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a toilet means a plumber and possibly new flooring, and a matching cistern may no longer be made. A repair leaves it in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Compared with replacing, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.

How the visit works
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. It generally takes one to two hours, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We clean and dry the damaged area.
- Next we rebuild the missing piece to its original shape.
- We sand the repair level.
- We match the colour to the glaze.
- Finally we polish it into the surrounding glaze.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
Ask for a price
There’s no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

Will the price change on the day?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. You won’t be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
