Toilet chip repair in St Weonards, done in place

Leaking cracks need the toilet replacing, and we’ll tell you if that is what we find. Chips are rebuilt and colour-matched to the glaze, so you don’t need a plumber or a new toilet. Common call-outs are for damage from dropped items and pieces knocked off during fitting, across vitreous china, cisterns & lids and porcelain.

Peace of mind is built in: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before you book. Take care with heavy items and clean the outside of the pan gently.

How it works

There is not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take an hour or two, tidy-up included.

  1. First the damaged area is cleaned and dried.
  2. Missing material is filled and rebuilt to the original shape.
  3. It’s sanded flush.
  4. We colour-match and finish the glaze.
  5. We polish the repair to blend it in.

Before we arrive

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Ask for a price

Upload a photo of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you are in St Weonards, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

Advice

How we price toilet chip repair

Repairs from £95. There’s no charge for travel to St Weonards. The price comes down to:

  • How many areas need work
  • Access to the area
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear

A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Quotes from your pictures

You can take the pictures on your phone, there’s no need for anything special. Ensure they show:

  • Something in shot to show the size
  • One picture of the entire toilet
  • Any details about the material
  • Natural light rather than flash

Most clients in St Weonards get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we will reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

What we can’t put right

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • A crack that leaks water
  • A crack through the bowl or trap
  • A loose pan or leaking seal (that’s a plumbing job)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Materials we repair

  • Pedestals
  • Porcelain
  • Vitreous china
  • Toilet pans
  • Cisterns & lids

FAQs for St Weonards

Is the work guaranteed?

Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We will explain what it covers when we quote.

How do I book?

Some pictures, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.

Do you do work for letting agents?

Yes. We carry out repairs for householders, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses across Herefordshire.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit normally costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.

What about a leaking crack?

No. That needs a new toilet. We fix chips and broken pieces.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.

Are you accredited?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

Why repair rather than replace?

A new toilet needs a plumber and sometimes new flooring around the pan, and a matching cistern may no longer be made. Repairing the chip leaves it in place. Our toilet chip repair starts from £95. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.

Why book with us

  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Everything repaired in place
  • A year’s guarantee on all work

See our pricing.

Can I fix it myself?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
