What else we do in Blythburgh
Work for landlords and builders
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Blythburgh use us as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it typically costs far less than a refit.
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. There is no charge for travel to Blythburgh. The price depends on:
- The material and finish
- Access to the area
- Doing more than one item at once
- How many areas need work
A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.
Send photos for a quote
When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Something in shot to show the size
- Natural light rather than flash
- What it’s made of, if you know
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
Blythburgh questions
What does uPVC repair cost?
Prices start from £95. Every job gets a fixed quote from your photos. Send a close-up and a photo of the entire item with your IP19 postcode.
Is my repair covered?
All our work carries our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.
What do you need from me?
Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.
Do you cover the whole of Suffolk?
All of Suffolk, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.
Do you come to Blythburgh?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to Blythburgh for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.
How quickly can you book me in?
We will give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Should you replace it?
A new window, door or sill is a much bigger job, and new uPVC may not match the weathered frames around it. Repairing the damage leaves the unit in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why us?
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited
- We’ll tell you if it’s not worth repairing
See our prices page.
Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
Honest limits
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair will not do:
- Failed or misted double glazing units
- Broken locks, hinges or mechanisms
- Frames that are warped or out of square
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Conservatory frames
- Coloured and woodgrain uPVC
- White uPVC
- Window frames & sills
- Doors & door panels
What we do, step by step
On the day, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take a few hours. We clean up when we are done and let you know when you can use it again.
- First the frame or panel is cleaned.
- We fill scratches, chips and holes.
- We smooth the repair.
- We colour-match the finish, including woodgrain effects.
- The repair is blended into the surface around it.
Before we arrive
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep a parking space free if you can
Getting a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
