UPVC repair near High Town

uPVC repair in High Town without replacing anything

The damage is filled and refinished to match the frame, woodgrain finishes included. Builders and developers use us for snagging repairs too. We are often asked to fix scratches from ladders and furniture and holes from removed fittings and alarms, on window frames & sills, white uPVC and doors & door panels.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we’ve gone. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or scourers.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

For landlords and businesses

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.

What we’re called out for in High Town

uPVC is tough but not indestructible: ladders and building work leave scratches and chips, candles and cigarettes burn sills, and removed fittings leave holes.

Get in touch if you’ve noticed any of these:

  • Burns on sills
  • Chips and dents
  • Damage during building work
  • Holes from removed fittings and alarms

High Town questions

What information do you need?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we will agree a date.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Yes, regularly. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.

What happens once I’ve sent photos?

You get a fixed price and available dates. If we need another angle, we will ask.

Do you cover High Town?

We do. Technicians travel to High Town from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.

Do you charge for travel?

There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the entire UK, including High Town and the rest of Luton. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.

How do I get a price for uPVC repair in High Town?

Repairs from £95. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.

Are you accredited?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing the frame or sill is a much bigger job, and new uPVC may not match the weathered frames around it. A repair leaves the unit in place. Prices start from £95. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why us?

  • Everything repaired in place
  • Honest advice, even when it means no job
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • Fixed prices from your pictures

See our prices page.

How it works

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Allow a morning or an afternoon. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.

  1. First the frame or panel is cleaned.
  2. Next we fill the damage.
  3. We smooth the repair.
  4. We match the colour, including woodgrain finishes.
  5. The repair is blended into the surface around it.

Preparing for the visit

  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
