The damage is filled and refinished so it blends into the frame, woodgrain finishes included. We also do snagging repairs for builders. Repair or replace: which is better?

A new window, door or sill costs far more, and new uPVC may not match the weathered frames around it. A repair keeps the original. Prices start from £95. Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is typically a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.

Why book with us

  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • Colour-matched on site
  • One price list for the whole UK

See our prices page.

The process

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It usually takes a morning or an afternoon, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. We start by cleaning the frame.
  2. Scratches, chips and holes are filled.
  3. The repair is sanded smooth.
  4. The finish is colour matched, woodgrain included.
  5. We blend the repair into the surrounding surface.

Before we arrive

  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.

What a repair cannot fix

  • Failed or misted double glazing units
  • Broken locks, hinges or mechanisms
  • Frames that are warped or out of square

What uPVC repair costs

Repairs from £95. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • How much damage there is
  • The material and finish

The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

How to get a fixed quote

You can take the pictures on your phone. Ensure they show:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed price back. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
