For landlords and businesses
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Bath re-enamelling at your home in Boscombe
Cast iron, steel, acrylic, roll-top and period baths can all be resurfaced. The finish is sprayed on in several coats over a bonding primer, once the bath has been cleaned, repaired and prepared. If you are dealing with a coating lifting around the plughole and a roll-top that’s seen better days, we can help, on pressed steel baths, acrylic baths and basins & shower trays alike.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

What a repair cannot fix
A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:
- Problems we can’t see until an old finish comes off
- Leaking taps or wastes (a plumber’s job)
- Acrylic that moves when you stand in it
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Victorian roll-tops
- Basins & shower trays
- Cast iron baths
- Acrylic baths
- Pressed steel baths
Materials and what they mean for the repair
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a bath typically involves a plumber, a fitter and a tiler. Resurfacing is one technician, normally in a day, with the bath ready the next day. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Boscombe. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

When to call us in Boscombe
The gloss on enamel is thin, and abrasive cleaning slowly wears it away. After years of use, the surface becomes porous and stains easily.
You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Lots of chips and rust spots
- A roll-top that’s seen better days
- A bath that stays dull however much you clean it
- Brown or grey marks that do not clean off

Questions from Boscombe
Can you resurface a pink bath in white?
Yes. Coloured baths can be resurfaced in white, and we can do the rest of the suite as well.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
We can work for tenants, landlords or agents. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
Do you cover Boscombe?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Boscombe. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can you price it without visiting?
Generally, yes. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed price without visiting.
Does the bath have to be removed?
Not at all. We work on the bath in place, with the room masked and ventilated.
Will the new finish last?
It depends on preparation, use and care. Properly prepared and looked after, it lasts well, and our work is guaranteed for a year.
Can you do the outside of a roll-top?
Yes. We can do the inside and outside if you’d like.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.
What we do, step by step
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. Most jobs take the best part of a day, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Taps, tiles and the floor are masked off.
- The bath is degreased, repaired and keyed.
- We apply the primer and then the finish coats.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
How to prepare
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

What bath re-enamelling costs
Prices start from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We look at:
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The type of damage
- How much damage there is
- What the surface is made of
A repair generally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.
Send photos for a quote
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- The material, if you know it
To get a price, send two or three pictures using our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.
