Bath re-enamelling at your home in Logan
We do not move the bath, so your taps, tiles and plumbing are left alone. It typically takes one visit, with the bath ready to use the following day. Common call-outs are for a roll-top that’s seen better days and an outdated colour you’d like to change, on Victorian roll-tops, pressed steel baths and basins & shower trays.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re not left on your own once we’ve gone.

Landlord and trade work in Logan
If you manage property in Logan, we will quote for several properties at once. Just send photos for each address and we will come back with a combined price.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Repair or replace: which is better?
When the bathroom is fine apart from the bath’s finish, re-enamelling is the least disruptive fix. Tiles, panels and taps stay put. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.

Logan: your questions answered
Will the bath be moved?
No. It’s re-enamelled where it stands, so nothing else is disturbed.
What happens if you find more damage?
The price is fixed for what the photos show. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Are you accredited?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Can you make a coloured bath white?
Yes. Coloured baths can be resurfaced in white, and we can do the rest of the suite as well.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.
Do you come to Logan?
We do. We send a technician to Logan for every job, with no extra charge for travel.
Can you quote from pictures?
Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the photos cannot show what we need.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
Different materials, different repairs
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it needs firm support underneath. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
When we’d advise against a repair
In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- A bath that’s rusted through
- A metal bath with a through crack
- Damage hidden under a previous coating, until it’s stripped back
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Basins & shower trays
- Victorian roll-tops
- Cast iron baths
- Acrylic baths
- Pressed steel baths

You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Worn patches where water runs and sits
- Several chips and rust patches
- A coloured bath you want in white
- An old resurfacing that’s failing

How to care for the repair
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Never use suction bath mats
- Get any chip repaired quickly
- A quick wipe after use keeps limescale away
- Stick to gentle, non-abrasive cleaners
Wipe the bath dry after use where you can, and rinse away any product left on the surface.
Leave a peeling coating alone. Moisture gets underneath and makes it worse, so it’s better to have it stripped and redone.
What happens on the day
When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take the best part of a day. We tidy up before we leave and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- Old sealant is cut out and the bath is deep cleaned.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- The surface is keyed and primed for the new finish.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
Ask for a price
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
