Work for landlords and builders
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Bath re-enamelling at your home in Marylebone
We clean, repair and prime the bath before spraying the new finish. Most of the work, and most of the durability, is in the preparation, so we don’t cut corners on it. We regularly repair acrylic baths, Victorian roll-tops and basins & shower trays, and common reasons people contact us are staining under the taps and around the waste and a coloured bath you want in white.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
How to look after the repair
Good habits make a big difference to how long a repair lasts:
- Have chips seen to early
- Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent
- Keep toiletries on a shelf rather than in the bath
- Dry the bath after use to stop limescale
Treat the new finish gently at first: give it the full curing time, then clean it gently. From then on, avoid abrasives and suction mats.
Worn enamel only gets rougher with time, and any rust spreads underneath. Acting earlier keeps the preparation simpler.

Marylebone: your questions answered
Do you charge for travel?
No. Our quotes include travel, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Can pets and children be at home?
Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Usually, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
How durable is a resurfaced bath?
It depends on preparation, use and care. Properly prepared and looked after, it lasts well, and our work is guaranteed for a year.
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
How long does re-enamelling take?
Normally one day, with the bath ready the following day. A badly pitted bath can need a second day.
What information do you need?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we will do the rest.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
What bath re-enamelling costs
Prices start from £350. We price every job individually, from your pictures. What matters most is:
- The material
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The colour and finish to match
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Marylebone. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what we need:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- The material, if you know it
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Something in shot to show the size
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed quote back. There’s no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.
When a repair isn’t the answer
We would rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:
- An acrylic bath that flexes badly underfoot
- A metal bath with a through crack
- Holes rusted through the metal
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Acrylic baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Victorian roll-tops
- Pressed steel baths
- Cast iron baths
Why repair rather than replace?
A refit takes several trades and several days. Re-enamelling takes one technician and generally one day, and the bath can be used the day after. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

How the visit works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your photos first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take most of the day, and we leave the room as we found it.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- Old sealant is cut out and the bath is deep cleaned.
- Chips, rust and pitting are repaired.
- The surface is keyed and primed for the new finish.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the next day.
Preparing for the visit

- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
