Bath Re-enamelling in Moorfields
We travel to Moorfields for full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing. Everything is done in place, and the work is guaranteed.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A bath in a colour that no longer suits
- Brown or grey marks that do not clean off

Why repair rather than replace?
If the bath is sound, re-enamelling is normally much cheaper than replacing it, once you add removal, plumbing, tiling and decorating to the price of a new bath. It’s much quicker too. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.
What you get with us

About our bath re-enamelling in Moorfields
We clean, repair and prime the bath before spraying the new finish. Most of the work, and most of the durability, is in the preparation, and we take our time over it. Whether it’s lots of chips and rust spots and a bath in a colour that no longer suits, we can generally put it right, whatever the material.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

What we’re called out for in Moorfields
The gloss on enamel is thin, and abrasive cleaning slowly wears it away. Eventually the surface turns porous and stains.
These are the problems we are asked about most:
- Wear marks under the taps
- An old resurfacing that’s failing
- An original cast iron bath that needs restoring
- A dull, rough surface that will not come clean
What your quote should include
- How long it needs to cure
- How changes to the job are handled
- Who will actually do the work
- The length of the guarantee and what it covers
Moorfields: your questions answered
How much does bath re-enamelling cost in Moorfields?
Resurfacing from £350. Every job gets a fixed price based on photos of the damage. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo and your postcode.
Someone resurfaced my bath and it’s peeling. Can you help?
Normally, yes. The old coating comes off before we resurface it. Tell us about it when you ask for a quote.
When can you do it?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Do you cover the entire of Bristol?
Across the UK. Prices don’t change with location.
Do the materials smell?
There can be some smell while we work, so we ventilate the room. It clears as the materials cure.
Is my repair covered?
Yes: twelve months. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Will the new finish last?
Care for it and it lasts. Gentle cleaning, no suction mats.
Repairs by material
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Acrylic
Acrylic baths can be resurfaced too, using a system that bonds to acrylic. The bath needs to be firm and well supported for the finish to last.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.
How the visit works
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll get on with it. Most visits take a full day, tidy-up included.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease the bath and fix chips and rust spots.
- We key the surface and put on a bonding primer.
- We spray several coats of new enamel finish.
- Once cured, normally by the day after, the bath is ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep a parking space free if you can

What affects the price in Moorfields
Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The type of damage
- What the surface is made of
- How hard the colour is to match
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
How to get a fixed quote
The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of photos using our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.
When we would advise against a repair
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- A bath split right through the body
- Anything hidden under an old coating, until we remove it
- Acrylic that moves when you stand in it
