Bath re-enamelling & resurfacing in Radfall, Kent
Our repair technicians come to Radfall for full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing. Everything is done in place, and the work is guaranteed.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A roll-top that’s seen better days
- An old resurfacing that’s failing

DIY kit or professional repair?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
Bath re-enamelling in Radfall, done in place
Re-enamelling is a one-day job for most baths. Nothing is disconnected or removed. We’re frequently asked to fix an outdated colour you’d like to change and an old resurfacing that’s failing, in Victorian roll-tops, acrylic baths and cast iron baths.
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee.

Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a bath can take several days across several trades. Resurfacing takes one technician and typically a day. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why Radfall customers choose us
- Every repair guaranteed for a year
- One visit for most repairs
- We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing
- We leave the room as we found it

How we price bath re-enamelling
Resurfacing from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:
- The material and finish
- How much damage there is
- The colour and finish to match
- The type of damage
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Quotes from your pictures
Phone photos are fine, there’s no need for anything special. Ensure they show:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Where you are, by postcode
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed quote.
What we do, step by step
You don’t need to empty the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. Most jobs take most of the day, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- First we look the bath over and confirm the finish.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- We degrease the bath, fix any damage and key the surface.
- Primer and finish coats are applied.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Open a window if you can
- Keep a parking space free if you can
How to get a price
Email us a photo of the damage and one of the entire item, with your CT5 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

Questions from Radfall
Will there be fumes?
Yes, while we are applying the finish. We set up ventilation and the smell fades as it cures.
Is repairing better than replacing?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Is it messy?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
Do you cover the whole of Kent?
We work UK-wide. Prices don’t change with location.
When can you do it?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, we often do. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
What we can’t put right
In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- A cast iron or steel bath that is cracked right through
- Anything hidden under an old coating, until we remove it
- Acrylic that moves when you stand in it
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Victorian roll-tops
- Pressed steel baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Cast iron baths
- Acrylic baths
Different materials, different repairs
Roll-top and period baths
Freestanding roll-tops can be done inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.

How to care for the repair
So the finish stays in good condition for years:
- A quick wipe after use keeps limescale away
- Don’t leave a chip unrepaired
- Repair dripping taps early
- Rinse off hair dye, oils and bath bombs immediately
Treat the new finish gently at first: give it the full curing time, then clean it gently. From then on, avoid abrasives and suction mats.
On a worn bath, rust spots keep spreading, and each one adds to the preparation. Resurfacing before they spread keeps it simpler.
For landlords and businesses
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Radfall use us as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
