Bath re-enamelling & resurfacing in Ringland, Norfolk
Bath re-enamelling for Ringland, without a refit. Send us photos for a fixed price, then book a visit.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A dull, rough surface that won’t come clean
- A period or roll-top bath worth keeping

Looking after it afterwards
Aftercare is simple:
- Store bottles off the bath
- Have chips seen to early
- Fix dripping taps quickly
- Rinse off hair dye, oils and bath bombs right away
Rinse away dyes, oils and bath bombs straight after use, as they can stain. Repair dripping taps promptly.
Avoid scrubbing a dull bath with abrasive cleaners. It removes more of the surface.
Bath re-enamelling at your home in Ringland
We resurface cast iron, steel and acrylic baths, including roll-tops and period baths. Several coats of finish go on over a bonding primer, after the bath has been cleaned, repaired and keyed. Our technicians work on acrylic baths, cast iron baths and pressed steel baths, and people most often call us about a peeling or bubbling previous coating and several chips and rust patches.
All our work is covered by our one-year guarantee.

How we price bath re-enamelling
Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Ringland. The price reflects:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Access to the area
- What the surface is made of
- How hard the colour is to match
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.
Quotes from your photos
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Please include:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- One picture of the entire bath
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
Email us a photo of the damage and one of the whole item, with your NR8 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
What we can’t put right
We’d rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:
- A metal bath with a through crack
- Plumbing leaks, which need a plumber
- Steel that has corroded right through
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.
Materials we repair
- Cast iron baths
- Acrylic baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Victorian roll-tops
- Pressed steel baths

Your questions about bath re-enamelling in Ringland
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Landlords are often glad to have it sorted.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Will the price change on the day?
If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.
What does bath re-enamelling cost?
Resurfacing from £350. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You will get a fixed figure before you book.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Generally, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
Do you charge for travel?
No. Our quotes include travel, with the same prices everywhere we work.
Which areas do you work in?
We work UK-wide. Prices do not change with location.
Will there be fumes?
Some odour is normal while we spray, so we ventilate the room. It clears as the finish cures.
Should you replace it?
A refit takes several trades and several days. Resurfacing is one technician, normally in a day, and the bath can be used the day after. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before you book, with nothing added on the day.

What your bath is made of matters
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
Acrylic
We resurface acrylic baths as well, with a coating system suited to acrylic. The bath needs to be firm and well supported for the finish to last.
Can I fix it myself?
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
The process
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, do the job and tidy away. Allow a full day from start to finish. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to care for it.
- The room is masked, protected and ventilated.
- The bath is cleaned, degreased and any chips or rust repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new enamel finish in several coats.
- The bath is left to cure and can typically be used the following day.
How to prepare
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Open a window if you can
