Bath Re-enamelling in Sticker
Damaged bath in Sticker? We put it right where it is, mix the colour on the day and back it with a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Brown or grey marks that don’t clean off
- A coating lifting around the plughole

Repairs by material
Pressed steel
Steel baths and trays have a thin metal body under the enamel. Exposed steel rusts quickly, so we treat and seal the metal before filling.
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are the classic candidate for re-enamelling. The body lasts for generations; only the enamel wears, so resurfacing gives them a new life.
About our bath re-enamelling in Sticker
We clean, repair and prime the bath before spraying the new finish. The preparation is what makes it last, so we do not cut corners on it. If you are dealing with a bath in a colour that no longer suits and chips and rust in more than one place, we can usually put it right, on acrylic baths, cast iron baths and Victorian roll-tops alike.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. These are the things that affect it:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Doing more than one item at once
A repair normally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Phone photos are fine, there is no need for anything special. Make sure they show:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- Natural light rather than flash
- Details of any past repairs
- Something in shot to show the size
If you are in Sticker and want a price, photos are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
Why repair rather than replace?
When the bathroom is fine apart from the bath’s finish, resurfacing is the simplest answer. Tiles, panels and taps stay put. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why book with us
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

DIY kit or professional repair?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
What we do, step by step
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you’re not left guessing. Once we’re there, the work takes the best part of a day for most jobs. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.
- First we look the bath over and confirm the finish.
- Taps, tiles and the floor are masked off.
- We degrease the bath, fix any damage and key the surface.
- Primer and finish coats are applied.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Ensure the room can be ventilated

Keeping it looking good
Aftercare is simple, and it makes a real difference:
- Keep suction mats out of the bath
- Have chips seen to early
- Rinse off hair dye, oils and bath bombs right away
- A dripping tap should be fixed promptly
Stick to mild, non-abrasive cleaners, don’t use suction bath mats, and do not leave bottles or razors standing on the surface.
The longer worn enamel is left, the rougher it gets, and any rust spreads underneath. Resurfacing sooner means less repair work first.
When to call us in Sticker
In hard water areas, limescale and the cleaning it needs wear enamel faster, and gritty cleaners are the worst culprits.
People typically call us after spotting something like this:
- Several chips and rust patches
- A roll-top that is seen better days
- An old resurfacing that’s failing
- A coloured bath you want in white
