Bath re-enamelling in Windsor, done in place
After cleaning, repairing and priming, we spray on the new finish. The preparation is what makes it last, so we don’t cut corners on it. Our repair technicians work on Victorian roll-tops, basins & shower trays and pressed steel baths, and the jobs we see most are stains that won’t shift and a period or roll-top bath worth keeping.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right.

Work for landlords and builders
If you manage property in Windsor, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we’ll come back with a combined price.
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
Repairs by material
Roll-top and period baths
Freestanding roll-tops can be done inside and out, and the outside can be refinished too.
Pressed steel
Steel baths re-enamel well, once any rust has been treated. Rust around the waste is common on steel, so we pay close attention there.
How it works
When we visit, we arrive at the time we’ve agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job generally takes the best part of a day. We clean up when we are done and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- The bathroom is protected and ventilation set up.
- We remove the old silicone and deep clean the bath.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- We key the bath and apply a bonding primer.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Clear the area around the damage
Getting a price
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
Advice
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a bath can take several days across several trades. Re-enamelling is one technician, normally one day, and the bath is usable the day after. Prices start from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book.
Why us?
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Straight answers about what a repair can do
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. You will know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Whether we combine several jobs
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Windsor. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:
- Details of any past repairs
- A picture taken from further back
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of pictures through our quote form or call us. We will say right away if a repair is the right fix.
What a repair cannot fix
It helps to know what we cannot do too:
- A cast iron or steel bath that is cracked right through
- Leaking taps or wastes (a plumber’s job)
- A bath that is rusted through
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.

Your questions about bath re-enamelling in Windsor
Will the price change on the day?
The price is fixed for what the pictures show. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.
How do I get a price for bath re-enamelling in Windsor?
Prices start from £350. Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You’ll get a fixed figure before you book.
Do you resurface freestanding baths?
Yes. We can do the inside and outside if you’d like.
What areas do you cover?
The entire UK, including all of Windsor and Maidenhead. Just include your postcode and we will confirm dates.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes: twelve months. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.
Will the bath be moved?
