- Deep scratches in acrylic
- A hole punched through by something heavy
- A chipped rim or side
- Rusty patches near the plughole

Bath repair at your home in Brodsworth
A damaged bath doesn’t have to mean a new bathroom. We fill the damage, shape it to the curve of the bath and refinish it, with the colour mixed on site so the repair is hard to spot. Whether it’s holes from dropped items and rusty patches near the plughole, we can typically put it right.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee in Brodsworth and across Doncaster.

What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. Most visits take two to three hours for most chips, including clearing up.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Any rust and loose material comes out, and the area is degreased.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- The colour is tinted by hand until it matches.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
How to prepare
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
Getting a price
Send us pictures of the damage and one of the whole item, with your DN5 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

Your questions about bath repair in Brodsworth
What do you need from me?

Can you repair a failed DIY repair?
Yes. We remove the old filler and start again. Mention it when you send photos.
Can you repair a crack in an acrylic bath?
Often, yes, as long as we can get to the back of the crack to support it. Take off the bath panel and check, or send us a photo.
Can you repair a chip on a coloured bath?
Yes. The colour is mixed on site to suit your bath, including pastel and older colours.
How long before I can use the bath?
Generally the next day. We will tell you the exact curing time when we finish.

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
Is a bath repair durable?
It should, as long as the bath is firm and the area was prepared well. It carries our one-year guarantee.
What bath repair costs
Prices start from £95. We give every job a fixed price from pictures. This is what makes a difference:
- Doing more than one item at once
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How much damage there is
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Brodsworth. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- A picture taken from further back
- Details of any past repairs
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
There’s no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
What we cannot put right
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. We cannot fix:
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
- A whole bath that is dull or worn, where a full re-enamel is the better fix
- A steel bath rusted through
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

Repair or replace in Brodsworth?
Swapping a damaged bath for a new one normally involves a plumber, removing the old bath, re-tiling and a new panel and getting rid of the old bath. A repair fixes just the damaged area in a single visit. Our bath repair starts from £95. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Repairs by material
Cast iron
A cast iron bath is heavy enough that most people never want to move it. The enamel is the part that wears or chips, and that’s the part we put right.
Acrylic
Acrylic baths are moulded sheet reinforced underneath. There is no rust, but cracks, holes and scratches happen, and cracks need support from behind to stay fixed.
Looking after it afterwards
It’s all simple stuff, just a few sensible habits:
- Get any new chip repaired before it rusts
- Protect the bath with a towel when doing jobs nearby
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
- Avoid scourers, wire wool and gritty cream cleaners
Do not leave razors, cans or hair grips in the bath, as they can leave rust marks. A dripping tap should be fixed early, too.
A chip on a metal bath shouldn’t be left. Once water reaches the metal, rust begins, and a rust spot is a bigger repair than a clean chip.
