Bath Repair for Brushford homes
We travel to Brushford for chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths. Nothing is taken out, with a one-year guarantee.
- Repairs from £95
- Damage beneath the taps
- An old repair that has yellowed or come loose

When to call us in Brushford
Most bath damage comes from something dropped: a shampoo bottle, a shower head, a tile or a tool during a refit. On enamelled baths, any chip down to the metal lets water in, and rust follows.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- Rust spots around the plughole
- Deep scratches in acrylic
- A chip where the taps sit
- A hole punched through by something heavy
Questions to ask before you book
- How soon you can use it again
- What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Who will actually do the work
How we handle bath repair in Brushford
We repair enamelled steel, cast iron and acrylic baths. Each material is repaired a little differently: metal baths need any rust dealt with first, and acrylic cracks need support from behind. Whether it’s cracks in an acrylic bath and deep scratches in acrylic, we can help, whatever the material.
Every job is backed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

Landlord and trade work in Brushford
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.
How we price bath repair
Repairs from £95. We don’t charge extra for travel to Brushford. The price depends on:
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The colour and finish to match
- The size and number of damaged areas
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
Getting a price from photos
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. Try to include:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.
How to care for the repair
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Do not scrub with anything abrasive
- Protect the bath with a towel when doing jobs nearby
- Get any new chip repaired before it rusts
- A dripping tap stains enamel, so fix it early
In the first few days, avoid putting weight or bottles on the repair. After that, normal gentle cleaning is fine, avoiding abrasives.
Do not leave a chip on a steel or cast iron bath. Water gets to the metal and rust starts, and a rust spot is a bigger repair than a clean chip.
Should you replace it?
For damage in one or two places, a repair is the obvious choice. It’s a fraction of the cost of a new bath and fitting, it’s done in one visit, and the bathroom stays exactly as it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

DIY repairs versus a professional job
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
How it works
Visits start with a quick look at the job together. Then the area is sheeted and masked and we start. Allow two to three hours for most chips, and we’ll keep you posted as we go.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased.
- We fill it, let it set, then sand it flush.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We tidy up and tell you when the bath can be used, generally the next day.
How to prepare
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

Advice
Your questions about bath repair in Brushford
Can you repair a hole in a bath?
Normally. Photos of the hole and the underside help us check.
How much does bath repair cost in Brushford?
Repairs from £95. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Is it safe with children and pets around?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Do you do work for letting agents?
We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Is there any odour?
It depends on the job, but frequently a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.
Can a cracked acrylic bath be fixed?
In most cases. We reinforce the crack from behind, then fill and refinish the front, so we need access under the bath.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Different materials, different repairs
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are thick and very strong, with a fused enamel surface. A chip down to the iron can rust, but the body of the bath lasts a very long time, which makes it well worth repairing.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
