Bath chip & crack repair in Langham, Norfolk
We travel to Langham for chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths. Everything is done in place, and the work is guaranteed.
- Repairs from £95
- Rust spots around the plughole
- Cracks in an acrylic bath

Keeping it looking good
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Cover the bath during DIY or decorating
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
- Use a soft cloth and washing-up liquid for everyday cleaning
- Have new chips seen to early
Treat the repaired area like the rest of the bath: a soft cloth and washing-up liquid is all it needs. Keep scouring pads and gritty cleaners away from it.
Tape over a fresh chip or crack until it’s repaired, to keep water out. Remove it before the repair.
Bath repair in Langham, done in place
Most bath damage, from chips and cracks to rust spots and holes, is repaired in place. Nothing is unplumbed, the tiles are not touched, and the repaired area is colour matched so it blends in. We regularly repair roll-top & freestanding, cast iron enamel and whirlpool & spa baths, and the jobs we see most are chips along the edge of the bath and snagging damage from a refit.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. Just call us if there’s a problem and we will come back.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

What affects the price in Langham
Repairs from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- Whether we combine several jobs
- What kind of damage it is
- How many areas need work
- Access to the area
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Langham. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Send photos for a quote
Photographing the damage takes a minute. Try to send:
- Any details about the material
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
Should you replace it?
For damage in one or two places, a repair is the obvious choice. It’s a fraction of the cost of a new bath and fitting, it’s done in one visit, and nothing else in the room changes. Prices start from £95. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
What you get with us
- One visit for most repairs
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- No extra charge for your area
- Nothing taken out or refitted
Read our prices page or resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.
The process
On the day, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job generally takes two to three hours for most chips. We clean up when we’re done and let you know when you can use it again.
- Dust sheets and masking go down around the bath.
- We clean, key and degrease the damage, and any rust is treated.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- Colour and gloss are matched to the surrounding surface.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Clear the area around the damage
Ask for a price
We price from photos so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

What your bath is made of matters
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour matched, just like other baths.
Pressed steel
Pressed steel is thinner and lighter, with an enamel finish like cast iron. Exposed steel rusts fast, particularly by the plughole, so early repairs matter.
When to call us in Langham
Baths take more knocks than people expect: bottles, shower heads and razors are dropped every day, and fittings press hard against the enamel. Over time, chips and rust spots are almost inevitable.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- A chip where the taps sit
- Rust by the waste and overflow
- A cracked acrylic bath
- Chips on the rim or sides
What to look for in a quote
- When it can be used again
- What preparation is included
- Who will actually do the work
- How changes to the job are handled
Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is usually cheaper.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
