Bath repair at your home in Manea
Small damage on a bath is worth repairing early. Exposed metal on enamelled baths soon rusts, while cracks in acrylic grow each time the bath moves. A repair stops both. Our repair technicians work on acrylic, pressed steel enamel and whirlpool & spa baths, and people most frequently call us about chips on the rim or sides and an old repair that has yellowed or come loose.
You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we will come back.

Do you need bath repair in Manea?
Baths take more knocks than people expect: bottles, shower heads and razors are dropped every day, and fittings press hard against the enamel. Sooner or later, most baths pick up a chip.

Do you cover Manea?
Yes. We cover the entire UK and travel to Manea and the rest of Cambridgeshire. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
How do I book?
Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
You’ll get a fixed quote back. You are under no obligation.
Can a cracked acrylic bath be fixed?
Typically, yes, as long as we can get to the back of the crack to support it. Take off the bath panel and check, or send us a picture.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Do you cover the whole of Cambridgeshire?
We cover the entire UK, including Manea and the rest of Cambridgeshire. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Most of the time. Tell us what was done before and we’ll plan for it.
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
When a repair isn’t the answer
Not everything can be repaired, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs won’t solve:
- Metal that has corroded all the way through
- A bath that flexes because its feet or cradle have failed (that needs fixing first)
- A bath worn all over, where resurfacing makes more sense
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before you book.
What we work on
- Acrylic
- Pressed steel enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Cast iron enamel
Aftercare tips
Much of the damage we repair could have been avoided. These habits help:
- Do not leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
- Clean with warm water and a mild detergent
- Cover the bath during DIY or decorating
Give the repair the full curing time we recommend before using the bath. From then on, mild cleaning is all it needs.
Avoid standing in a cracked acrylic bath until it’s fixed. Every use opens the crack a little more, and it can start to leak underneath.
How it works
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Allow two to three hours for most chips from start to finish. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.
- First, the area is cleaned and any loose enamel or rust is removed.
- The chip or crack is filled, then sanded level with the bath.
- The colour is mixed on the spot to match your bath.
- Finish coats go on, then the repair is polished to blend in.
- We leave it to cure; you can normally use the bath the following day.
Before we arrive
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Let us know which floor the room is on
Getting a price
To get a price, send a couple of photos through our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

What your bath is made of matters
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are so heavy that repairing in place makes obvious sense. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that’s the part we put right.
Acrylic
Acrylic baths are moulded sheet reinforced underneath. They don’t rust, but they can crack, scratch or be holed, and cracks need support from behind to stay fixed.
DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
Landlord and trade work in Manea
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Manea as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
If you manage property in Manea, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we will price them together.
