Bath Repair for Ram homes
Chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths in Ram, carried out at your home and guaranteed for a year.
- Repairs from £95
- Holes from dropped items
- Chips along the edge of the bath

What your bath is made of matters
Cast iron
A cast iron bath is heavy enough that most people never want to move it. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that is the part we put right.
Composite and resin
Composite baths are dense and solid, and frequently freestanding. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour-matched, in much the same way.
Bath repair in Ram, done in place
Most bath damage, from chips and cracks to rust spots and holes, can be repaired with the bath left exactly where it is. There is no plumbing to disconnect, the tiles are not touched, and the repaired area is colour matched so it blends in. Whether it’s rust by the waste and overflow and damage done while the bathroom was being fitted, we can help.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Ram and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

What else we do in Ram
Can I fix it myself?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
When to call us in Ram
Damage during fitting is very common. Tradespeople drop tools and tiles into the bath, and the damage isn’t always spotted until later. Snagging repairs like these are a regular job for us.
Contact us if you’ve noticed any of these:
- Chips on the rim or sides
- Scratches you can feel with a fingernail
- A kit repair that didn’t last
- Rust by the waste and overflow

Repairing versus replacing in Ram
If the rest of the bath is in good condition, a repair is almost always the better choice. It’s quicker, cheaper and far less disruptive, and the bathroom stays as it is. If the entire surface is worn, re-enamelling may make more sense, and we will tell you. Our bath repair starts from £95. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before booking, with no extras added later.
Why us?
- Free fixed quotes from pictures
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- Colour-matched on site

Landlords, agents and businesses in Ram
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Ram as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
Letting agents frequently send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

Ram questions
Is a holed acrylic bath repairable?
Normally, yes, if we can reach behind it. The hole is backed, filled and refinished to match.
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.
Can a cracked acrylic bath be fixed?
Generally, yes, if we can reach the underside to reinforce it. Take off the bath panel and check, or send us a photo.
Will there be a smell?
There can be some smell while we work. It fades as everything cures.
Do you charge for travel?
There is no separate call-out charge. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Just keep them out of the work area. We will tell you when the room can be used again.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.
What does bath repair cost?
Repairs from £95. We give a fixed price from your pictures. Send a close-up and a photo of the whole item with your SA48 postcode.
What affects the price in Ram
Prices start from £95. We don’t charge extra for travel to Ram. The price comes down to:
- What the surface is made of
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How many items we do on one visit
- The size and number of damaged areas
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Ram. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- Any details about the material
- Something in shot to show the size
- One picture of the entire bath
- Details of any past repairs
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through.
When we’d advise against a repair
In fairness, some problems need a different fix:
- A whole bath that’s dull or worn, where a full re-enamel is the better fix
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
- Cracks in acrylic we cannot reach from underneath
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Pressed steel enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Acrylic
- Cast iron enamel
- Roll-top & freestanding
How the visit works
On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job usually takes a few hours, depending on the damage. We clean up when we’re done and let you know when you can use it again.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the next day.
Before we arrive
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
How to get a price
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
