Bath Repair for Stockland homes
Bath repair in Stockland without the cost of replacing. Get a fixed quote from your pictures, then book a visit.
- Repairs from £95
- Damage beneath the taps
- Chips along the edge of the bath

How it works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a few hours, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- First, we check the damage against your pictures and agree the plan.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- We build up the filler in layers, shaping it to the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- The repair is polished to the same gloss as the bath and left to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
How to get a price
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
Advice
Bath repair in Stockland without replacing anything
Chips, cracks, rust spots and small holes can be repaired with the bath left exactly where it is. Nothing is unplumbed, your tiles stay as they are, and the repaired area is colour matched so it blends in. Typical jobs include rust spots around the plughole and a hole punched through by something heavy, on roll-top & freestanding, cast iron enamel and pressed steel enamel.

Signs you need bath repair in Stockland
Acrylic baths that crack nearly always have a support problem. Loose legs, no proper cradle or a floor that gives let the bath move until it cracks.
Most people contact us after spotting one of these:
- Scuffs and scratches in the surface
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- Chips under the taps
- A hole punched through by something heavy
Comparing quotes

DIY kit or professional repair?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
Why repair rather than replace?
For damage in one or two places, a repair is the obvious choice. It’s a fraction of the cost of a new bath and fitting, it’s done in one visit, and the bathroom stays exactly as it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Repairs by material
Composite and resin
Stone resin and composite baths are heavy and solid, and often freestanding. Chips and scratches are filled and matched, in much the same way.
Cast iron
A cast iron bath is heavy enough that most people never want to move it. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that’s what we repair.
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. There’s no area surcharge for Stockland. The price reflects:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Access to the area
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Stockland. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Send photos for a quote
Phone photos are fine, there’s no need for anything special. Ensure they show:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Where you are, by postcode
- One picture of the entire bath
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.
What we cannot put right
Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- A steel bath rusted through
- Leaking fittings, which need a plumber
- A whole bath that is dull or worn, where a full re-enamel is the better fix
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Acrylic
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Cast iron enamel
- Pressed steel enamel
Keeping it looking good
Simple care helps the repair last. We recommend:
- Rinse it down after each bath
- Check that an acrylic bath doesn’t move when you stand in it
- Stick to mild cleaners and a soft cloth
- Do not leave a fresh chip for long
For the first few days, keep heavy bottles off the repaired spot. After that, clean it as you would the rest of the bath, avoiding abrasives.
Tape over a fresh chip or crack until it’s repaired, so water cannot get in. Take it off before we arrive.
