Bath Repair for The Woodlands homes
Chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths at your home in The Woodlands, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Repairs from £95
- Chips caused by builders
- A hole punched through by something heavy

What happens on the day
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. The work itself takes a morning or an afternoon, and we leave the room as we found it.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Any rust and loose material comes out, and the area is degreased.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
Before we arrive
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Have a window or extractor fan available
How to get a price
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

Bath repair at your home in The Woodlands
Whether your bath is steel, cast iron or acrylic, we can repair it. The method changes with the material: metal baths need any rust dealt with first, and acrylic cracks need support from behind. Common call-outs are for rusty patches near the plughole and a chipped rim or side, on whirlpool & spa baths, pressed steel enamel and roll-top & freestanding.

FAQs for The Woodlands
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit typically costs less than separate visits. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. If pictures don’t show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.
Will it make a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Usually, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.
Is my repair covered?
Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
How do I book?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.
What we can’t put right
A repair is not always the answer, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:
- A steel bath rusted through
- Leaks from the waste or overflow fittings (a plumber’s job)
- Flexing caused by a failed cradle or loose feet
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
Looking after it afterwards
It’s all simple stuff:
- Rinse the bath after use, especially in hard water areas
- Keep metal cans and razors off the surface
- Avoid scourers, wire wool and gritty cream cleaners
- Put a towel in the bath if you are working above it
There is nothing special to do after a repair, just sensible cleaning. Skip bleach and gritty creams and rinse after use.
Rust under enamel spreads surprisingly quickly. Left for months, a small chip can grow into a large rust patch, so it pays to deal with it early.
Repairing versus replacing in The Woodlands
A new bath costs more than the bath itself: removal and disposal, plumbing, a new panel, tiling and decorating. A repair is one job, done in one visit. Prices start from £95. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.
Why The Woodlands clients choose us
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish
- Every repair guaranteed for a year

What affects the price in The Woodlands
Prices start from £95. We charge the same across the UK, including The Woodlands. What changes the price is:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The type of damage
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
How to get a fixed quote
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- One picture of the entire bath
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Details of any past repairs
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
Work for landlords and builders
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
For anyone letting property in or around The Woodlands, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Repairs by material
Pressed steel
Steel baths are lighter than cast iron, but have a similar enamel surface. Exposed steel rusts fast, especially around the waste, so repair chips early.
Composite and resin
Stone resin and composite baths are heavy and solid. Chips and scratches can be filled and colour matched, in much the same way.
