Bath & shower resealing (mastic) in Albert Town, Pembrokeshire
Bath resealing in and around Albert Town: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- A messy previous reseal
- Gaps by the taps
- Sealant that’s split or lifting

How we handle bath resealing in Albert Town
Resealing is one of the simplest ways to protect your bathroom. Failed sealant lets water get where it shouldn’t, and a new seal stops it. We regularly repair wet rooms, kitchen worktops & sinks and shower trays & enclosures, and people most often call us about black spots in the silicone and silicone smeared on tiles.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
What affects the price in Albert Town
There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:
- Doing more than one item at once
- The material and finish
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How much damage there is
There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
How to get a fixed quote
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:
- A photo taken from further back
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

Honest limits
Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. We can’t fix:
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- Rotten walls or floors behind the bath
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Advice
Aftercare tips
Good habits make a big difference to how long a repair lasts:
- Keep bottles off the joints
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
- Let steam out after showers
- Reseal when black spots will not clean off
Let it cure fully before using the bath or shower, normally about a day.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
Is resealing worth it?
Resealing is a small job. Putting off a reseal can let water reach the walls and floor, and that damage costs much more to fix. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.
