Bath resealing in Cladswell without replacing anything
A reseal is a small job that makes a big difference. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they keep water out. Whether it’s black spots in the silicone and a messy previous reseal, we can typically put it right, whatever the material.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we will come back.

Work for landlords and builders
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we will arrange it.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
Your questions about bath resealing in Cladswell
What does bath resealing cost?
Because every job differs, we price from photos. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
How long before I can shower?
Normally about a day later. We confirm before we leave.
When can you do it?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Do you seal over the old sealant?
We always remove the old sealant completely. Fresh silicone does not stick to old.
How long does a reseal take?
Normally a couple of hours, then it needs to cure.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.
Which areas do you work in?
We cover the whole UK, including Cladswell and the rest of Warwickshire. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.
When we’d advise against a repair
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- Rotten walls or floors behind the bath
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Basins & vanity units
- Wet rooms
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Baths
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
What we do, step by step
You don’t need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you are happy with the plan. It usually takes around two hours, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.
- All the old sealant is cut out and removed.
- The joint is cleaned and any mould treated.
- The joint is dried thoroughly.
- For a bath, we fill it with water first so the joint is at its widest.
- We run a new bead of mould-resistant silicone and smooth it neatly, including around the taps.
Getting ready for the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Make sure the room can be ventilated

Advice
What we are called out for in Cladswell
A bathroom without good ventilation is hard on sealant: damp hangs around, and mould grows faster.
These are the problems we are asked about most:
- Black mould in the sealant
- Gaps by the taps
- Silicone coming away from the tiles
- Discoloured, yellow sealant
What to look for in a quote
- When it can be used again
- What prep work is covered
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- How the room is protected while they work
Why it’s worth resealing in Cladswell
Resealing costs very little, and it protects everything around the bath. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with no extras added later.
Why book with us
- One visit for most repairs
- No need to remove anything
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- Fixed prices from your photos

How we price bath resealing
Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- How hard the colour is to match
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How many areas need work
Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Getting a price from pictures
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Details of any past repairs
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed quote.

Aftercare tips
Most damage we see is avoidable. These habits help:
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
- Open a window after bathing
- Use the extractor fan
- Dry the seal after bathing
Do not scrape the sealant with anything sharp, and don’t stand bottles on the seal.
Reseal before water gets in. Split or lifting sealant is a sign it’s time.
