Bath & shower resealing (mastic) in Clifton, Rotherham
Our technicians come to Clifton for bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone. Everything is done in place, and the work is guaranteed.
- Sealant that’s split or lifting
- Old sealant that looks dirty
- Black mould in the sealant

How we price bath resealing
We price every job individually. The main factors are:
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- What the surface is made of
- Whether we combine several jobs
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Clifton. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Try to send:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- The material, if you know it
- Details of any past repairs
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Email us a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you’re in Clifton, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
Bath resealing in Clifton, done in place
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they keep water out. We’re often asked to fix gaps by the taps and an untidy old seal, in basins & vanity units, baths and wet rooms.
Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Clifton and across Rotherham.

Resealing in Clifton: why it matters
Resealing costs very little, and it protects everything around the bath. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

What your bath or shower is made of matters
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, for the same reason.
The process
When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take a couple of hours. We clean up when we’re done and let you know when you can use it again.
- The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
- Old sealant and residue are removed.
- The joint is cleaned, treated and dried.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- We smooth the bead, remove the tape and leave it to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
Getting a price
To get a price, send two or three pictures through our quote form or call us. We will say right away if a repair is the right fix.

Aftercare tips
To keep it looking its best for years:
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Air the room after use
- Run the extractor fan during and after showers
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
Avoid scraping the joints, and do not stand bottles on the seal.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. There may be more going on, so we’ll tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
