Bath resealing in Clock Face, done in place
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they protect the walls and floor. We are frequently asked to fix black mould in the sealant and damp near the bath, in kitchen worktops & sinks, baths and wet rooms.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

Prices and what affects them
There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- The colour and finish to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- What the surface is made of
- Doing more than one item at once
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Getting a price from photos
When you take your pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- One sharp close-up of the damage
If you’re in Clock Face and want a price, photos are the quickest way: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
Do you need bath resealing in Clock Face?
Sealant splits when the bath or tray moves, often because it was sealed with the bath empty.
The things clients typically mention when they call are:
- Sealant that’s split or lifting
- Unsealed corners
- Damp near the bath
- A messy previous reseal
What your quote should include
- Whether they match the colour on site
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- When it can be used again
- Who turns up on the day
Repairs by material
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, for the same reason.
Baths
Baths are resealed with water in them, to open the joint fully.
FAQs for Clock Face
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Why does mould come back so fast?
Generally poor ventilation and moisture sitting on the joint. We use mould-resistant silicone, and ventilation helps it last.
Do you charge for travel?
We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed price covers the visit and the work.
What happens after I send pictures?
You’ll get a fixed quote back. You’re under no obligation.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Which areas do you work in?
All of St Helens, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.
How long before I can shower?
Normally about a day later. We will tell you the exact time.
Resealing in Clock Face: why it matters
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is and protects the walls and floor. Leaving failed sealant can let water cause damage that costs far more to fix. We do not add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

How the visit works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before any work starts. Most visits take a couple of hours, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- Residue is removed and the joint cleaned.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
Getting a price
Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and you’re under no obligation.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
What we can’t put right
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Baths
- Basins & vanity units
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Wet rooms
