Prices and what affects them
There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- How many items we do on one visit
- The material and finish
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
How to get a fixed quote
Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire bath or shower, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
Bath resealing in High Street without replacing anything
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they keep water out. Whether it’s damp near the bath and stained silicone, we can help, on kitchen worktops & sinks, shower trays & enclosures and wet rooms alike.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

Why it’s worth resealing in High Street
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is and protects the walls and floor. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. Set against the cost of replacement, repairing normally costs far less, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Is there a guarantee?

Do you work in High Street?
Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to High Street and the rest of Cornwall. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can you quote from pictures?
Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.
Is repairing better than replacing?

Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
Different materials, different repairs
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Baths
Baths are resealed with water in them, to open the joint fully.
What happens on the day
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. Most visits take around two hours, tidy-up included.
- We cut out and remove all of the old sealant.
- Next we clean the joint and deal with mould.
- The joint is dried thoroughly.
- Baths are filled with water first, so the joint is at its widest.
- We apply new mould-resistant silicone and tool it to a neat finish, including around the taps.
How to prepare
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Keep a parking space free if you can
How to get a price
