Bath Resealing for Llandoche homes

Different materials, different repairs
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Baths
Baths are resealed with water in them, to open the joint fully.
Bath resealing at your home in Llandoche
A fresh seal protects your bathroom. Old, split or mouldy sealant lets water get behind the bath or tray, and a new seal stops it. Common call-outs are for silicone coming away from the tiles and leaks at the edges, on wet rooms, basins & vanity units and baths.
You are covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we will explain exactly what it covers when we quote.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
Aftercare tips
Looking after the surface is easy, and it makes a real difference:
- Reseal when black spots won’t clean off
- Air the room after use
- Give the seal a regular clean
- Use the extractor fan
Keep the room well ventilated, and wipe the joints after use so mould struggles to take hold.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. Resealing early keeps water out of the walls and floor.
Landlord and trade work in Llandoche
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Llandoche use us as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it generally costs far less than a refit.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.
What we do, step by step
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your pictures first. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before we open a single tin. Most visits take around two hours, and we leave the room as we found it.
- We cut out all of the old sealant.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- We apply fresh mould-resistant silicone and tool a neat bead.
Getting ready for the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
Getting a price
Most clients in Llandoche get their price from photos. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.
