Bath Resealing for Moelfre homes
Fixed-price bath resealing in Moelfre and the surrounding area, typically in one visit and guaranteed for a year.
- Old sealant that looks dirty
- Leaks at the edges
- A messy previous reseal

Bath resealing at your home in Moelfre
Resealing is one of the simplest ways to protect your bathroom. Old, split or mouldy sealant lets water get behind the bath or tray, and resealing puts a stop to that. Common call-outs are for old sealant that looks dirty and gaps in the seal, across basins & vanity units, kitchen worktops & sinks and baths.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you’re not left on your own once we’ve gone.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
How the visit works
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we’ve agreed what we are doing. It generally takes a couple of hours, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- Residue is removed and the joint cleaned.
- We treat mould and dry the joint thoroughly.
- We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
Getting ready for the visit
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

What a repair can’t fix
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- A bath or tray that moves, until its support is fixed
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.
What we work on
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Basins & vanity units
- Baths
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Wet rooms
Materials and what they mean for the repair
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Baths
We fill the bath before sealing, to open the joint fully.
What bath resealing costs
Prices are worked out job by job, from your pictures. The main factors are:
- How many items we do on one visit
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Unusual colours or finishes
- What kind of damage it is
Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Quotes from your pictures
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- Something in shot to show the size
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A wider photo showing the whole bath or shower
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
If you’re in Moelfre and want a price, the easiest route is pictures: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.

Why it’s worth resealing in Moelfre
Resealing costs very little. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. Compared with replacing, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
What you get with us

For landlords and businesses
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Isle of Anglesey and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Moelfre as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
How to care for the repair
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
- Reseal at the first sign of lifting
- Let steam out after showers
- Run the extractor fan during and after showers
Avoid scraping the joints, and don’t stand bottles on the seal.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem. An early reseal keeps water where it belongs.
