Bath resealing in Stoke-upon-Trent without replacing anything
We cut out all of the old sealant, treat any mould, and apply fresh mould-resistant silicone. We reseal baths, showers, sinks and worktops, and that includes the awkward spots behind the taps. We work on shower trays & enclosures, basins & vanity units and wet rooms, and common reasons people contact us are black spots in the silicone and damp near the bath.
Every repair is covered by our one-year guarantee.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Why it’s worth resealing in Stoke-upon-Trent
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. A proper reseal removes the old first. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed price from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.
Why us?
- Fixed prices from your photos
- Every repair guaranteed for a year
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Generally one visit, start to finish

Materials and what they mean for the repair
Baths
We fill the bath before sealing, to open the joint fully.
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, for the same reason.
How the visit works
Here’s how a visit typically runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and tidy away. Allow a couple of hours. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.

- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- We treat mould and dry the joint thoroughly.
- We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.

When a repair is not the answer
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
- Movement in the bath or tray
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.

Stoke-upon-Trent questions
Do you cover Stoke-upon-Trent?
Yes, we do. Repair technicians travel to Stoke-upon-Trent from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.
How do I get a price for bath resealing in Stoke-upon-Trent?
Because every job differs, we price from photos. You know the full cost before anything is booked.
Do you seal over the old sealant?
We always remove the old sealant completely. Fresh silicone does not stick to old.
How long does a reseal take?
Around two hours for a bath, plus curing time.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
Why does the silicone keep cracking?
Generally because the bath or tray moves, or it was sealed with the bath empty. We fill the bath before sealing it.
Prices and what affects them
You’ll know the full cost before booking. We take into account:
- Access to the area
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How much damage there is
Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Phone photos are fine, there is no need for anything special. Just ensure we can see:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Something in shot to show the size
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A wider photo showing the entire bath or shower
Email us photos of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you’re in Stoke-upon-Trent, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
Keeping it looking good
Much of the damage we repair could have been avoided. These habits help:
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Use the extractor fan
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
- Wipe the joints dry after use
Leave the sealant to cure for the time we give you, normally about a day.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. An early reseal keeps water where it belongs.
